Our fees are extremely competitive. Because we are a state boarding school, you will only pay for the boarding provision – not your child’s education (which is paid for by the state).
Your child will enjoy the lifestyle of an independent school but at a fraction of the cost.
Our Boarding fees per term for the academic year 2019 / 20 are £4,815 per term. This is £14,445 per annum. The fees are subject to annual review.
From September 2019, if you are in the Armed Forces, and qualify for Continuity of Education Allowance, you will pay £1,156 per annum (only pay 8% of the annual fee). Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA) is available to help Service personnel achieve continuity of education for their child that would otherwise be denied in the maintained school sector if their children accompanied them on frequent assignments both at home and overseas.
The Children's Education Advisory Service (CEAS) provides information and advice to Service families and eligible MoD civilians on all aspects of the education of their children in the UK and overseas.
Please call the helpline on civ: 01980 618 244; Mil: 94 344 8244. Telephones are manned from 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
To enquire by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We endeavour to keep any additional costs to a minimum (for example pupil accident insurance will appear on the termly bill). There will also be a House Account to cover pocket money and any small expenses during term time.
To avoid any surcharge, we ask that termly fees are settled on the 1st day of term please.
To discuss boarding fees, please contact Lucy Steele on 01304 245059.
Assistance with School Fees
Should you require assistance with the payment of school fees whilst your child is at the School, we would urge you to contact the appropriate charitable organisations from the links below:
Local authorities have a duty to consider assisting families in cases of hardship. Under Part 6, Section 61 of the Education Act 2011 which amended the Academies Act 2010, the Local Authority has a duty to meet Condition B whereby payment of the full amount of charges in respect of the board and lodging would involve financial hardship to yourselves. We have provided a copy of this particular section of the Education Act 2011 together with a letter template which you may wish to use when writing to your Local Authority.
