Our White Rose Academy welcomed Trinidad and Tobago hockey superstar, Kwandwane Browne, to take the weekly Boys Academy sessions. As a current England Under 21 coach, Kwan is in charge of the transition of England’s junior internationals, to full senior representation. This puts him as one of the elite coaches in the country, and the boys were extremely receptive to his coaching; they particularly enjoyed his exceptional skills as he relayed them to the boys. The session was fantastic and our boys were thoroughly engaged and worked hard they worked on the night. Hopefully we can get Kwan in again, as well as Grace Balsdon, (who worked with the girls for a session in the Christmas term), and keep driving the academy forward.
