SCHOOL MEDICAL CENTRE SUPERVISOR

 Required for April 2012

Full-time post, providing a high standard of health & welfare for pupils at this full boarding school. You will manage a team of three, working autonomously during shifts, using a problem solving approach to reach clinical, therapeutic & prescribing decisions.   Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with live registration of NMC, have experience of leadership, management of resources and have good ICT skills. Being a Nurse Practitioner, having experience of working with young adults, and in a school environment are desirable.

Hours currently: 3 week shift rota over 7 day’s inc working extra hrs & on call 2-3 nights during term time only.  Salary: NHS Band 6 plus NHS on call allowance of 4.5%.  Annual leave is the majority of school holidays.   Housing may be available on site if required.
