Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV)
Due to a recent expansion in Cadet numbers, The Duke of York’s Royal Military School CCF is recruiting Section Officers / SNCOs to support the delivery of training for the Army, Royal Navy and RAF Sections.
Job Title: RAF Cadet Force Adult Volunteer
Salary: £2,000 allowance per annum

Due to a recent expansion in Cadet numbers, The Duke of York’s Royal Military School CCF is recruiting a Section Officer for our RAF Section. This would involve attending a weekly parade from 0930 – 1230 on a Saturday morning during term time, as well as training events throughout the year. This is a fantastic opportunity for ex-military or current RAF Air Cadet Adult Volunteers to step into the CCF world or for current CCF CFAVs who would like to work with a new Contingent.

As a Section Officer / SNCO you would be expected to support the delivery of training in line with the RAF Cadet Syllabus. The CCF is willing to support successful applicants to attend qualification courses, with funding potentially available to support this. As a Section Officer / SNCO you would be eligible to claim up to 8 Days Volunteer Allowance annually for training conducted outside of weekly parade mornings. You would also be eligible for extra volunteer allowance for attendance to external courses. You would also be eligible for the School allowance, £2,000 annually.

A successful applicant would show a commitment to the Cadet Forces, a desire to work in a new environment and a passion for working with young people. You would report to the relevant Head of Section and be responsible to the RSM/Contingent Commander.
