Working closely with the Director of Sport, the successful candidate will deliver an inclusive and high-performing rugby programme, supporting participation, player development, and competitive success at all levels. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of rugby at the School, inspire students, and play a key role in developing both performance pathways and a strong rugby culture.

The Duke of York’s Royal Military School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Resident Sports Coach with a specialism in Hockey to join the School from September 2026. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality PE, Games and co-curricular sport across Years 7–13, coaching hockey and contributing to wider sports provision, including netball and other major sports. The role also includes supporting fixtures, extracurricular activities and the wider boarding life of the School, making it an excellent opportunity for someone considering a career in education or coaching.
