Available at most Key Stages, Dance fosters physical exploration and non-verbal expression, while also honing analytical and interpretative abilities through performance.
In addition to developing proficiency in a variety of dance techniques and styles, students cultivate a spectrum of interpersonal skills - including teamwork, communication, and problem-solving - that seamlessly translate to other aspects of their school engagements.
The opportunities within our Dance programme are diverse, offering students a myriad of avenues for participation. They can engage in various internal showcases like the Grand Day Production and the Dance Inter-House competition, as well as external events such as Breaking Waves at Leas Cliff Hall.
Throughout the week, our Dance Troupe clubs provide students with platforms to push their boundaries in Dance, refining techniques, fostering teamwork, and showcasing their talents through performances. These clubs serve as catalysts for growth, enabling students to expand their collaborative skills and explore new approaches to working together.
