The school’s commitment to student wellbeing extends beyond academics and is evident in its exceptional on-site medical facilities. These facilities offer extensive healthcare resources and access to nurses, a sports rehabilitator, and GP services, ensuring comprehensive care for students.
We take immense pride in our Medical Centre, providing comprehensive care to students and staff, nurturing both physical and emotional well-being. Serving as the School’s health hub, it offers a wide range of services including GP clinics and asthma clinics in partnership with the local GP surgery, and dynamic and flexible injury rehabilitation care with our qualified Sports Rehabilitator. Open throughout the term, the Medical Centre conducts daily triage and welfare interactions between our qualified Medical Team and the Boarding Houses; this addresses a variety of issues and creates a supportive and inclusive framework promoting healthcare autonomy. With facilities including consulting, well-being, therapy, and treatment rooms, our holistic approach ensures proactive health management. Each child with a long-term medical condition has a personalized health care plan reviewed annually for student safety.
Access to qualified counsellors and wellbeing therapists is available to all student, and the Medical Centre provides a sanctuary for those facing emotional stress or homesickness.
For optimal care, parents must submit a medical questionnaire, GP registration and consent form upon enrolment, with updates provided as required throughout the student’s time at the School. All new students will have a medical examination with a School Clinician in their first term to check and monitor their physical and wellbeing.
