Students at The Duke of York’s Royal Military School, are celebrating success at GCSE with some exceptional progress made by students.

12 students have been awarded highly competitive academic scholarships into Sixth Form with outstanding individual success from Imogen Thorne, Georgina Trimby, Shreya Limbu, Cristiano Rodriguez and Mayowa Aiyere. In addition, 8 students have received Sports Scholarships, 7 of them joining the schools’ rugby performance pathway with Ealing Trailfinders.

Principal Alex Foreman said, “As a top performing non-selective school, many of our GCSE students will be staying on for Sixth Form where we provide university-style accommodation and facilities. While academic achievement is at the forefront, our full boarding environment allows Dukies to immerse themselves wholeheartedly in a breadth of activities beyond the classroom, developing strong character and diverse life skills. As a result, Dukies’ achievement across the age group remains exceptional. I look forward to welcoming our Dukies back to our Sixth Form along with a record number of external applicants who join us in September.”
