For any event or occasion, the Duke of York’s Royal Military School presents an ideal venue. Situated amidst 150 acres of picturesque Kent countryside, the School provides a distinctive and unforgettable backdrop for various occasions. Whether you are planning a conference, sports event, theatrical production, or Gala Dinner, the School offers versatile facilities to accommodate your requirements. Throughout the year, the School opens several of its facilities for rental.

Dining Hall

Centrally located within the School grounds, the Dining Hall boasts a charming ambiance and can accommodate up to 500 guests. Whether you prefer our School benches or desire a different type of table arrangement, we can accommodate your preferences to enhance your event. Equipped with a fully functional kitchen, we offer catering services for various occasions, ranging from weddings to birthday parties.

 

Chapel

The Chapel is available for hire for weddings and christenings. Constructed between 1905 and 1909, the Chapel holds the esteemed title of the Royal Military Chapel of Saint Michael and Saint George. With a rich historical background, this venue adds a unique and special touch to your memorable day.

 

Nye Hall

A remarkable auditorium, accommodating up to 490 individuals with retractable seating. Featuring a spacious stage area and access to four changing rooms, it is an ideal venue for concerts or sizable conferences. Additionally, the stage is equipped with large monitors, perfect for impactful presentations.

 

The Dukies’ Coffee Shop

A fully operational café suitable for intimate gatherings. Staffed with skilled baristas, it offers a selection of snacks and sweets to complement your event.

 

Adjutant General’s Conference Room

Also known as the AG’s Room, this conference area serves as a versatile space initially designed for conferences accommodating up to 60 individuals. However, we have successfully hosted weddings and parties in this area. You will have the choice of a buffet lunch or dinner, with continuous access to tea and coffee during your event. Additionally, arrangements can be made for a formal sit-down meal if preferred.

Sports Facilities

The School offers a range of sports facilities for teams, including:
