The successful candidate will be required to play an active role in boarding school life which may include tutoring, sports, clubs and activities during the day, evenings and at weekends.  A DYRMS allowance is payable of £5,368 per anumn.

 

Accommodation may be available on site at a fair rent.

Payroll & Finance Assistant

 

Are you looking for a new payroll challenge? Then we have an exciting career opportunity in this unique Boarding School in an iconic setting on a 150 acre site near to the White Cliffs of Dover.   

 

This is a varied role with the responsibility to provide timely and accurate recording and processing of our monthly payroll and other finance related tasks.  Experience of working in a finance/accounting and payroll role is essential as well as good organisation and communication skills, excellent IT knowledge.  Ideally knowledge of Sage Payroll or other payroll packages. 

 

Salary: DYRMS scale 6 (starting at £21,941 to £24,963 pa) plus 20% Local Government Pension Scheme contribution. Ideally a full-time role although reduced hours may be considered.
