One Academic Year Placement

 

We have a number of exciting opportunities for new graduates available from September 2019.

 

These one year residential posts provide valuable support to our house students, sports and classroom learning as well as an exciting and ideal opportunity for graduates considering a career in education in the UK or internationally to experience a year in the life of this energetic,

forward-looking and unique School.

 

We are looking for candidates with a range of interests and specialisms including to assist in Math as well as with PE/Games.  

 

We aim to offer our Graduate’s a memorable year working with lively and interesting students within a flourishing co-educational environment. The School will provide full board accommodation including food in an on-site boarding house or school accommodation during term time. You will also have access to a gym and swimming pool on site, and in this paid role you will also have opportunities for continuing professional development and training. Our Graduates are assigned a mentor for their year who will provide advice on professional development and working with students both in the classroom and the boarding house.

 

This experience provides a platform for various career progressions paths; many of our graduates are accepted on Teacher Training courses. If you are highly motivated and fully prepared to undertake the demands of working in a number of busy and active departments.  The ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently is key to their success and a willingness to participate fully in boarding life is essential.
