Wolfe Win Drill Comp 2023

Wolfe House win the annual Inter-House Drill Competition and the honour of Trooping the Colour on Grand Day.

Inspection, with marks awarded for five categories: Inspection, Turnings, Quick Time, Slow Time and March Past, was carried out by Chelsea Pensioners WO2 Dave Godwin, Sergeant Brian Rolfe and WO2 Pat Callaghan. 

Dukies in Years 8 to 13 took part, representing their respective Houses, and all students paraded at the end of the day, led by the School's military band.

Receiving the Drill Competition Shield was Ella, Junior Under Officer of the winners Wolfe House, who will now have the honour of Trooping the Colour at our impressive Grand Day in July; second place went to Clive and third to Alanbrooke.

Deputy Senior Under Officer Hanniel, received the Baroness Thatcher Sword of Honour for being judged the best Junior Under Officer of the Year by his peers. Good conduct stripes for the best Year 8 student in each guard went to Neve (Alanbrooke), Tehillah (Marlborough), Lily (Wolfe), Ariana (Clive), Lucas (Wellington), Michael (Wolseley), Dylan (Roberts), Avisai (Kitchener), and Nathan (Haig).
 
Good conduct medals were presented by Lt Col Gray MBE Deputy Colonel Cadets to, silver: Chief School Prefect and Junior Under Officer Aramide; bronze: Senior Prefects Ben and Stanley, and Senior Under Officer Daisy.
