The Duke of York's Royal Military School

A co-educational boarding school for students aged 11-18

VISA Advice

The Duke of York's Royal Military School is a state-funded full boarding school, where parents are only required to pay fees for boarding.

Therefore, students who attend the School should meet entry requirements set by the UK Government. Foreign national children resident in the UK normally have the right to attend state-funded schools in England. Foreign national children resident outside the UK will need to obtain the correct settlement or immigration status to study at a state-funded establishment.

It is the responsibility of the parents of foreign national children to check their right under UK entry conditions to study at a school before applying for a place. It is not the role of state-funded schools or local authorities to ask for proof of eligibility.

Further information regarding this can be found here.

Please complete the enquiries form with your details and the Admissions Team will be in touch. If you would like to discuss aspects of the School before completing the enquiries form, please contact 01304 245073.
